Worth noting…

Some of you may have noticed that I have (yet again) decided to change the look of the site. Call me fickle, I just felt the last one wasn’t quite working for me. As such, some things might be hinky here and there over the next few days as I get settled.

Secondly, my film review site, Filmikaze!, has been open since January 1st. I’ve given myself a challenge to watch and write a review for a new movie everyday of 2010. I’ve managed the first week; we’ll see how it goes.

Song of the Day #11: Somersault by Zero 7

Hey, what do you know, I’m actually still here!

I first heard British musical duo Zero 7 on the soundtrack for Garden State; their contribution, “In the Waiting Line,” is likely my favorite song on that album, which is really saying something, considering how remarkable a compilation it is. Currently I only own one studio album from Zero 7, 2004’s When It Falls, a dreamy and optimistic collection that has very much lived up to “In the Waiting Line’s” legacy. [read more]
